Day 1 :Â Fethiye
The day before, you'll check in to your gulet at about 16:00 pm. When you arrive on board, you will receive details and then settled into your cabins. Tonight you will be in port in Fethiye Harbour so you have the afternoon and evening to explore the Fethiye's town.
It is possible to visit the Lycian tombs that are high on the high cliffs to catch the sunset or shop within the historic town. Dinner will be served on board and you can choose to head back to town to experience the nightlife scene of Fethiye or take a peaceful cocktail in the water.
You can also choose to anchor in one of the bays that are secluded nearby.
Day 2 :Â Fethiye to St Nicholas Island
Breakfast is served and after breakfast, you'll set out from Fethiye Harbour heading for Butterfly Valley. This is the first time you get to dip in the gorgeous aquamarine waters in the Mediterranean. There will be a chance to walk along the shore and walk along the beach or climb into the valley if you'd like to. After that, you'll head towards Oludeniz Beach, which is the most popular beach on the planet.
Optional Activity: Paragliding Blue Lagoon
At over 6000m high, the views are not to be missed. We suggest booking this activity in advance or online to get special rates or through our office staff who are friendly and helpful. If you decide while here that this activity is for you, then please inform the captain know.
The boat will anchor behind the Blue Lagoon. There you can climb up the rocks and take an unimpeded view of the lagoon. In the afternoon, you'll travel to St Nicholas Island, where you will stay for the night. This gives you ample time to look around the remains of the Byzantine settlement, participate in the various water sports available, or simply take a dip in the water in the bay.
Be sure to at the very least visit the island, as it's one of the most beautiful sunsets to see while cruising on a gulet in Turkey.
Day 3 :Â St Nicholas Island to Kas
In the morning, your group will depart early so that you have the option of sleeping in. It will be a while before you reach Yesilkoy and have breakfast and take a dip on the quiet beach surrounded by olive trees. Then, you will cruise on to Kas Harbour, a tiny town that has a bohemian vibe.
Beautiful cobblestone streets lined with ancient Ottoman houses, make sure to check out the famous jewelry stores or grab a drink at one of the fashionable bars.
Optional Activity: Diving
Take a dive at one of the top spots in the Mediterranean. We suggest booking this optional excursion online prior to your trip to benefit from reduced rates, and to ensure that you can experience diving.
The evening is spent in Kas Harbour, so after dinner aboard, you may want to go back to one bar for a drink or two.
Day 4 :Â Kas to Ucagiz Village
The next morning, you'll travel to Simena in which you are offered the opportunity to walk onto the shore to ascend to the castle grounds to enjoy an amazing view of the ancient city as well as the beautiful coastline you've traveled. The bay and island are filled with ancient Lycian Sarcophagi, some of which are lying in the water. There will be plenty of ample time to wander around before you head away to a quiet bay close to Ucagiz Village.
Optional Tour: Demre Ancient City Tour
Demre is a treasure trove of ancient time and culture that should not be missed, from the ancient ruins to the famous location of the first St Nicholas (Santa Claus). We suggest pre-booking this optional excursion online prior to your cruise.
This is where you'll stay the night, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon swim and cocktails on the boat.
Day 5 :Â Ucagiz Village to Gokkaya Bay
After a restful morning, it'll be a brief cruise to the remains of the Sunken City. It was once part of the village that you can see on the other side, but was destroyed by an earthquake in the second century. When you travel by, you'll see the remains of the homes and the entire village submerged by the water.
There are numerous stops for a swim throughout the day prior to setting off from Gokkaya Bay where you will stay the night in the ideal location to have a relaxing nightcap beneath the night sky.
Day 6 :Â Gokkaya Bay to Kalkan
After breakfast, you travel to Aquarium Bay, which is known for its crystal clear water. In Aquarium Bay, you can take a break to relax in the pool before you sail off towards Kalkan. You could also go on a tour of the old fishing village and enjoy the many cafes, shops as well as restaurants and bars.
Optional Tours:
It is possible to take part in one of the trips offered along the coast, we can arrange for trips to Patara Beach or the ruins at Xanthos and Letoon. The Saklikent gorge in which water has created a huge gash through the rock creating a stunning pathway. You can also go ziplining and tubing down the river that flows through the gorge.
The evening is spent in a quiet area just outside Kalkan.
Day 7 :Â Kalkan to Tarzan or Samanlik Bay
In the morning, the crew will rise early, while you sleep. Then you will get up at Camli Burun, a natural beach surrounded by pine-covered hills. In Camli Burun, you will eat breakfast and then spend the day by sunbathing, relaxing, and swimming. You will spend your final night at Tarzan Bay or Samanlik Bay.
Day 8 :Â Tarzan or Samanlik Bay to Fethiye
After breakfast this morning, you'll have time to squeeze in one last swim before taking a cruise to Fethiye Harbour where it's time to depart around 9:00 a.m. Then, say goodbye to your crew of friends.
