Fethiye - 12 Islands - Kekova - Fethiye 8 Days / 7 Nights Itinerary


Day 1 : Fethiye to Islands

The day before, you’ll check in to your vessel at about 15:30 p.m. After you have arrived onboard, you will receive information and be seated in the cabins, and after that, the cruise will begin. It will take you out of Fethiye Harbour into the beautiful Gulf of Fethiye and the 12 Islands region.

You are now in vacation mode and enjoy the remainder of your time swimming, sunbathing, or snorkeling and taking in the beautiful coast. In the evening, you might like to take your first cocktail at sunset as you dock at Tersane Island (Dockyard) Bay or Flat Islands.


Day 2 : 12 Islands to St Nicholas Island

The next morning you’ll sail to Bedri Rahmi Bay. This is the most popular place for gulet tours within Turkey. The bay is famous for its painted fish. Bedri Rahmi, one of the pioneers responsible for discovering the stunning turquoise coast, painted the fish. In this bay, you can take a sandbar stroll towards the magnificent King’s Tomb before taking a bath in Cleopatra’s Bath.

The baths are believed to be the place where Cleopatra bathed, given to her as a wedding present from Marc Antony. Then, you’ll proceed to Oludeniz Beach, one of the most famous beaches globally, anchoring to the back of the Blue Lagoon where you can walk over the rock to go swimming within the lagoon. In the afternoon, you’ll anchor for the night on St Nicholas Island.

There are many activities to take part in, including taking a dip in the stunning waters, snorkeling with turtles, or walking along the shoreline to discover the ruin sites that comprise the island. From the top of the island, there is also the opportunity to view one of the most stunning sunsets in Turkey.


Day 3 : St Nicholas Island to Kas

In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll cruise to Aquarium Bay, one of the most beautiful bays known for its clear, blue water. You will have time to take a dip before transferring to Kas. There you can enjoy the city’s atmosphere and go to the shops.

Kas is famous for its gorgeous jewelry stores and boutique clothing. Take a stroll through the cobbled streets and explore the market or go to a cafe for a quiet moment to observe the small fishing town and passing tourists. In the evening, you’ll set anchor in the bay near Kas.


Day 4: Kas to Gokkaya Bay

Today is the perfect day to explore the numerous marvels of Turkey’s Mediterranean coastline and see several attractions known for their beauty in this region.

The cruise will take us straight to Kekova, the Sunken City in Kekova. The city was once one of the villages that you will see to the left but was devastated by an earthquake in the 2nd century. While you travel by, you’ll see the remains of homes and the entire village submerged by the water.

Then, you will head to Simena, where you can participate in the walk that leads up to the old castle grounds. You could opt to walk around the island, passing through all the ruins of Lycian tombs that are all over the island. Then, you will cruise to Gokkaya Bay and be anchored to sleep.

If you’re looking for a fun evening out, there’s an establishment called Smuggler’s Inn located nearby. If you’re thinking of getting together with fellow boats from the vicinity and partying the night away, and talking with the crew. Day 5 : Gokkaya Bay to Kocakari Bay

It’s a leisurely beginning to your day. Following breakfast, you’ll travel to the stunning historic fishing town located in Ucagiz as well as Aperlai Bay. You will have the opportunity to trek through the Aperlai ruin or prefer to stroll through the tiny village of fishermen in Ucagiz, admiring local crafts and products.

Day 6 : Kocakari Bay to Firnaz Bay

In the morning, we’ll cruise to Kalkan, which is where we’ll spend the rest of the day. There is the option of exploring the village’s old fishing port and enjoy the numerous shops, cafes, as well as bars and restaurants. You could also explore one of the stunning beaches and then relax in the beautiful Mediterranean. After lunch, the cruise will take you to Firnaz Bay where you will set anchor for the night.


Day 7: Firnaz Bay to Tarzans Bay/Samanlik

The group will depart at a reasonable hour in the morning. You can rest until you get up to the breathtaking Butterfly Valley. Breakfast will be served, after which you will be able to soak in the beautiful azure sea for a refreshing swim.
