Depart from Cleopatra’s bath to the island of Ekincik near the vibrant city of Marmaris. Cruise along the coast, visiting fabulous bays. Opt for an optional day excursion to Dalyan, featuring high rock tombs, the famous Turtle beach, and rejuvenating mud baths. Enjoy the evening at Ekincik.

Fethiye to Bodrum Gulet Cruise Itinerary

Lunch and dinner included today.

We board our gulet around 10am for welcome speeches and an introduction to Captain and crew. After departing Fethiye harbour around 10.30am, we cruise to the famous 12-island archipelago just outside of Fethiye. We will make a stop at Flat Island for lunch and our first dip into the Aegean sea before heading over to our anchoring spot for the evening – Cleopatra’s Baths, an ancient hamam dating back to Roman times. Here we have the chance to swim through the ruins before dinner is served on board.

This morning we cruise over to Ekincik. Here there is the chance for an optional excursion into Dalyan. This excursion will take us into the lakelands of the Dalyan area, past ancient rock tombs, for a visit to the mud baths (a Turkish must!) and the famous Turtle Beach. You can either choose to take this excursion (extra payment of 60 Euros applies) or stay on board to swim and relax.

This morning we head over to Paradise Bay for a swim stop before entering Marmaris Harbour. We can wander around the old town, which is still littered with historical houses that line the cobbled streets in the old city and check out the seaside markets. There are plenty of waterside cafes and bars to sample as well and time to hunt for a good place for dinner in the evening. After dinner we are free to experience the nightlife of Marmaris!

After breakfast, we will have some spare time to explore the city before making our way to Kadirga beach at around 12.30. This peaceful and secluded beachfront is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the harbour. We can take a dip in the refreshing water to energize ourselves after a late night out. Later, we will continue our journey to Bozukkale, where we will spend the night on board.

After breakfast, we head over to Datca, having lunch on the way and dock into, or near, the harbour. There are lots of options for the late afternoon and evening: we can take taxis for the 8km trip from the harbour to Datca old town (Eski Datca) if desired, where there is a old village to explore. We have time to wander around the town, pick up some bargains and sample the cafes. Or you can stay in the Datca harbour area to try a few bars and find a good restaurant for the evening meal.

After breakfast, the next stop is the ancient city of Knidos. Even though it is still under excavation, there are some impressive ruins to visit and the short climb up to the top of the hill to see the city’s two ancient, back-to-back harbours from above is well worth it! We will have plenty of time to swim in the luscious water and to explore this peninsula. Lunch near Knidos.
Later on we cruise over to Palamatbuku, a bay famous for its clear waters and beach area. Dinner on board in the bay.

We leave Palamatbuku early in the morning and head to Datca to have breakfast near the harbour. We then say goodbye to our crew as we disembark in Datca at 11am and we are transferred to Kairos Marina for the 12pm ferry to Bodrum (included). The ferry gets us into into Bodrum by around 1pm.
Time to say goodbye to your shipmates and head on to the next part of your adventures, which could be a night or two in Bodrum (recommended), a ferry over to the Greek island of Kos, or a transfer (1 hour by shuttle bus) to Bodrum airport for a flight to Istanbul or countless international connections.
